PhD Students are invited to take part in a research project analyzing the molecular underpinning of neural development potentially important for Autistic Behavior. Based on established methods in primary cell culture techniques, transgenic mouse lines and zebrafish technology, distinct signaling pathways will be manipulated at the molecular level and cell and animal behavior be analyzed in vivo and in vitro.

We are looking for a highly motivated student which has experience in one of the following topics: immunhistochemistry, cloning, cell culture technique, or behavioral experiments. Candidates will work interdisciplinary together with a zebrafish group, miRNA experts and Cell Biologists.
